Today, in our « Focus on« , we welcome our German member: Ageneo Life Science Experts GmbH. Ageneo was created in 2011 and has been a member of INRALS since 2013.

Below, you will find some key information about the life sciences market in Germany.

Compared to the European trend, Germany is the country with the largest market for life sciences and health products. Germany ranks first in terms of clinical trials in Europe, and second in the world.

All around the country, there are about 30 universities offering the opportunity to study life sciences. This means that approximately one in six jobs is in the health sector.

The turnover of the 1,200 biotech companies is around 4.84 billion euros. This gives access to almost 35,000 jobs.
