For our client, one of the top 10 leaders in animal heath with 10 R&D centers, 20 production sites, we are looking for an Open innovation Senior Biotherapeutics manager H/F

 

Présentation du poste

Reporting to the Innovation Director, and member of the Innovation management board, you are responsible for identify external resources,  initiating partnerships, coordinating and implementing the biotherapeutics research strategy.

As the senior scientific leader of this area, you implement & coordinate a new cluster of scientists inside and outside the organization. You demonstrate decision making deliverables to stakeholders across the firm.

Duties :

 -  Establish and implement the vision for Biotherapeutics discovery in different therapeutic areas (Immunotherapy, pain, anti-infectious, ...)

  -  Identify, develop and manage a network of external scientific academic and biotechnology partnerships that can be integrated into the Biotherapeutics portfolio

- Work closely with the Portfolio Committee to deliver on the pipeline from Target Discovery to Development candidate stage, including identification and assessment of external opportunities and technologies.

-   Drive cutting-edge science to enable success, by bringing new ideas and strategic directions for innovative research.

 -   Provide scientific leadership and ensure overall effectiveness of the pharmaceutical groups by overseeing work efforts in Biotherapeutics within the group, and managing external resources to meet the department and company goals.

        Ensure the Biotherapeutics teams build a strong reputation for our client in the external community by actively participating and presenting at scientific conferences.

    Build the Biotherapeutics group in the firm, further advance Biotech portfolio together with existing Biotherapeutics research scientists in other R&D centers.

   

    Provide strong leadership, clear direction, development opportunities and open communication to direct and indirect reports.

    Ensure compliance with all required training, safety, regulatory, HR, laboratory notebook and intellectual property activities and corporate policies

 

Profil


  • Good knowledge of biotherapeutics development

  • Good knowledge in Immunotherapy

  • Good knowledge in pharmacology and training

  • Knowledge of concepts of clinical research and drug development,

  • General therapeutic area education and training


 

In addition to the essential skills, the incumbent must have the ability to:

Qualifications / Experience

 

  • Veterinary or biologist

  • Previous experience in preclinical Development of biomolecules and biotherapeutics

  • English required
